About
A bit about me.
I'm Segun — a frontend and full stack engineer based in Lagos. I started where a lot of people start: HTML, CSS, and being far too particular about spacing. That part hasn't changed. What has is how much of the stack I ended up owning.
These days I build most things end to end — interface, API, database, deploy. Not out of principle. Mostly because I'm impatient, and waiting on someone else to finish their half is the slowest possible way to find out whether an idea actually works.
That's probably why hackathons suit me. Eight wins so far, and a deadline is still the best product manager I've worked with.
Right now I'm building Wire and Chalk, doing frontend work at Famous Holdings, and finishing a Computer Science degree at Lagos State University. When none of that is on fire, I'm reading about things I have no immediate use for.
